Billabong Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a charming 100 year old cottage situated down a quiet country lane just off the Lakes Way, within the Great Lakes Area of NSW, (three hours drive north from Sydney).    We are approximately 5 kilometres from the Pacific Highway and 8 kilometres from the small township of Bulahdelah, known as "The Unspoilt Escape".  You can enjoy clear turquoise seas and white sandy beaches such as Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, and Seal Rocks, to name only a few of the quiet uncrowded beaches in the Great Lakes area, or visit the beautiful and serene Myall Lakes, Smiths Lake and Wallis Lake which are surrounded by National Parks and State Forests.  

Billabong Cottage has been refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation.   There are two spacious king size guest bedrooms, each with private entry, covered deck areas, ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, TV/VCR/DVD.  The King size beds can be split into two king singles if required.  There is a private outdoor spa area to unwind in and we also have an aromatherapy studio where you can receive a relaxing massage and facial treatments.   You are welcome to roam around our 30 acres of land which is bordered by Boolambayte Creek and has natural Billabongs,  On the property there are many difference species of bird life to be found, as well as native wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, sugar gliders and possums.

The Great Lakes Area offers many attractions to enhance your stay.  You can swim, fish or boat on the lakes, you can laze about on one of the many beaches or go 4wheel driving on some of our selected beaches and forestry tracks. There are designated walks in National Parks and lots of other places of interest, restaurants, cafes and wineries are within a short drive or you can spend the day just relaxing around Billabong Cottage with a good book.

Included in our price is healthy light breakfast each morning or if you prefer, a full breakfast is available on request.  We are also happy to provide lunch, picnic packs and evening dinner at an additional cost.
